A Nutty Day

When we acquired the Morgan, it was 20 degrees and installing the side curtains seemed like a good idea. They are each secured with two nuts. On the right door, there did not seem to be enough room, with my extremely cold fingers, to secure one of the nuts. So I just put it behind the seats.

Did not realize this was an insecure spot. It fell out and is on the road somewhere.

Today I decide to take one of the nuts to the local hardware store. Discovered it is neither metric nor SAE. So the simplest chore turns out to be difficult.
